‘Aspire People’ (one of VPA’s Gold Committment Level ViP members’ and partners’) recruit teachers and supply teachers across the Midlands; they supply teachers for Primary and Secondary schools. A representative from ‘Aspire People’ contacted VPA and asked if a selection of children could produce a Christmas design where the best would be chosen for the company to use as their professional Christmas cards.
Several children were chosen by staff, representing all ages from Year 2 through to Year 6. The children researched a number of familiar Christmas card designs prior to the session and began to draw and sketch intently. The children worked very hard and creatively. The various designs were taken away to be judged by staff at ‘Aspire People’. Two winners were chosen and their winning designs will be available to buy at our Christmas Fair on Wednesday 18th December from 2.00pm until 4.00pm.
Congratulations to Raza Barati from Class 3F and Emanuel Clue from Class 6A whose designs were chosen as winners and well done to everyone who took part. All of the children were given a treat for their efforts and special prizes were presented to the winners.
There will be an opportunity this Christmas for any pupil who wants to design a card to be considered for next Christmas. Their design will be put into a line up and judged so, if you are interested please look out for more information concerning this.
