Santa will be available in his grotto for Key Stage 1 and AM Nursery children on Wednesday 12th December and again on the afternoon of Thursday 13th December for children from Key Stage 2 and PM Nursery (please be reminded that this is only for children who have paid in advance).
The School Cluster Choir will be singing Christmas Carols at Tesco, Penmakers Court Residential Home and Poplars Nursing Home on Wednesday 12th December. On Tuesday 18th December the choir will be singing at Harbourne Cottages at a twilight session and on Thursday 20th December they will be at Asda Cape Hill during the morning. Please stop if you are out and about and give the choir your support.
Friday 14th December is the occasion of our Christmas Fayre this will commence at 2.00pm. All parents and family members are welcome to attend as we encourage you to come along to see what your children have been busy making ready to sell to help raise school funds.
The children in Key Stage 1 have been very busy rehearsing for this years Christmas Nativity. This will take place on Monday 17th December at 1.45pm for afternoon Nursery parents. Key Stage 1 and morning Nursery parents are invited to attend on Tuesday 18th December at 9.30am.
The childrens’ Christmas parties will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 18th December. The children will be asked to bring in donations of party food, please support us where you can.
We have a real treat in store for the children during the afternoon of Wednesday 19th December, where the children will be treated to a live pantomime in school. The production is entitled The Snow Queen – Oh no it isn’t, Oh yes it is!
Thursday 20th December in the afternoon our children will make their way to St Matthews Church on Windmill Lane to take part in a Christmas Carol Service.
We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday 21st December, all children taking part will be asked for a donation of 50p towards school funds.
PLEASE NOTE we will be breaking up for the Christmas holidays on Friday 21st December at 12 noon – more information concerning this will be available in due course.
