A GALA PERFORMANCE BY PUPILS AT VICTORIA PARK PRIMARY!
On Wednesday 28th March 2012, for one night only, pupils from across the school took part in a special musical and dance extravaganza bringing a packed and excited audience songs and dances from around the world. As part of the school’s celebrations in becoming an Academy, Earthfest also celebrated ‘Earth Hour 2012’ in which millions of people across the globe switched their lights off for an hour.
Pupils were also joined by internationally renowned performers including a Polish folk group, a Birmingham choir, an Indian dance act and the percussionist Simone Rebello.
The official Earthfest programme lists the names of all the children that took part along with the acts. The entire event was captured on DVD by a professional film crew. The Earthfest DVD is available to buy from the school for £5.00.
