Friday 12th December is national ‘Christmas Jumper Day‘. Children can wear their Christmas jumper to school and by paying 50p to do so, they will be helping to raise money for ‘Save the Children Fund’. You do not have to go out specifically to buy a Christmas jumper as any brightly coloured jumper will be acceptable.
EYFS will be performing their version of ‘It’s a Baby!’ for parents in the drama studio at 10.00am and 2.15pm on Friday 12th December.
Years 1 and 2 will be performing their modern day version of the traditional Christmas nativity entitled ‘Born in a Barn’ on Tuesday 16th December. Key Stage 1 parents are invited to attend at 9.30am in the school hall. At 1.30pm the whole school will gather in the school hall for this year’s seasonal pantomime entitled ‘A Christmas Carol’.
Our Christmas Carol Concert will take place in the school hall on Wednesday 17th December at 9.30am – Key Stage 2 parents are welcome to attend. During the afternoon the children will have their class parties. Please support the class teachers in sending in donations of food and drink nearer to the date of the party. Could we ask that all packaging is sealed due to health and safety reasons.
School Christmas Dinner, this will be available on Thursday 18th December. Those children having school meals will have the choice of turkey with all the trimmings (vegetarian option is available).
Friday 19th December – School closes at 12.00 noon – please remember to collect your child on time.
Please note – Any parents requiring milk for children to drink at school and who are under the age of 5 years, should pay a total of £5.80 to the school office on Tuesday 6th January 2015. This will cover the cost for the half term.
