We are delighted to announce that we have made it to the final of the TES Primary School of the Year Awards .
Out of 20,000 schools in the country we have made it to the final 6, with the winner chosen at an exclusive awards ceremony in London on Friday 5th July. It promises to be a spectacular event with over 600 guests expected to attend, including government ministers and many of the great and good from the world of education.
Mr Morrish will be attending the gala awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge accompanied by 19 other members of staff. We are all thrilled at making it to the final and will enjoy being part of the celebrations even if we don’t win. Simply being one of the top 6 primary schools in the country should make us all feel very proud indeed!
In an email to the school, Gerald Kelly, Editor of the Time Educational Supplement (TES) said ‘the entries were of an exceptionally high standard this year and you and your team have done remarkably well to be shortlisted.’
I’m sure you will be urging the school on to win and would like to congratulate the staff and pupils on this amazing achievement.
