The votes are in! They have been independently counted and verified.
The whole school gathered in the hall today, for a very special assembly to hear which Changemaker Party had been elected by pupils and staff at VPA. It had been a very tense couple of days for the six, Year 5 parties who had diligently pitched their manifestos to the rest of the school; with the hope of becoming the school’s new Changemaker Party.
The whole school waited with bated breath as Mrs Dhesi, Head of School, made her entrance carrying a golden envelope containing the results. Silence gripped the hall as she read out, in reverse order, the parties names. The two teams remaining, Endeavour and The Achievers, were asked to stand at the front; as the party in first place was announced… The Achievers had clinched first place with 122 votes!
The children of The Achievers Party were congratulated by the whole school and have been invited to attend one of the school’s Senior Leadership Team Meetings to discuss points from their manifesto.
