Year 2 children and staff visited Villa Park on Monday 22nd April for one last time, as part of their healthy vitality mini project.
The children had been given mini projects to complete before their final visit to Villa Park. They had been practicing putting lyrics to some well known tunes, all focussing on healthy fruit and vegetables.
While the children were at Villa Park they were taken into the Food Academy Kitchen where they were shown how to produce a healthy pasta bake and a fresh fruit salad. The children prepared and cooked enough food for a main course and dessert feeding all of the Year 2 staff and children.
The children were shown how to use the club’s musical mats and recording equipment, where they were able to learn how to record their healthy songs onto a CD.
The children have taken many new and positive experiences away with them from the Villa Vitality Programme.
