Over the past week Year 2 have embarked on another spectacular trip! This time they were jet setting off to Birmingham airport as part of their NICER topic ‘UP, Up and Away’. The children were quite surprised to be met at the coach by their very own private flight crew-headed up by Captain Whitburn.
After a short wait in the departure lounge, the children were screened through security where their ever-vigilant air hostesses screened them for contraband; such as their class mascots.
Both classes enjoyed the views from the airport and the whole day was over before they could blink! Once the formalities were done and dusted it was time to depart back to school.
