This academic year has been a great one for our attendance figures. We are constantly reviewing ways in which we are rewarding the children for their 100% attendance.
This year 27 children will be going to Jitterbugs Party World in Blackheath. The children range from Nursery age to Year 6. They will be going out to celebrate their fantastic achievement of 100% attendance all year. Their treat takes place on Monday 7th July. The children will have full use of all of the equipment and they will have a hot meal of their choice before returning to school.
The final 100% attendance badge will be awarded to all of the children who have achieved 100% in each of the three terms. All children who have achieved 100% in any of the terms will be awarded with the appropriate badge. These badges will be presented in our final presentation assembly on Tuesday 22nd July.
100% attendance tokens have been a real success this year. All children who have achieved at least 4 weeks 100% personal attendance get to choose a small prize; some children have had 5 or 6 prizes already this academic year! This individual reward scheme will continue to run next year as it has proved to be so popular and has encouraged the children to attend regularly. Classes who have achieved 100% attendance collectively have continued to choose their class rewards. There are many 100% attendance class parties coming up before we break up.
