On Monday 8th October a group of children from Year 4 attended Shireland Collegiate Academy to take part in a Design Technology day. The day was organised to enable pupils to learn skills that they might not get the opportunity to use here at VPA.

The children were able to design key rings using 2D design software which was then sent to the laser printer to cut out the design out of acrylic. The children also designed their own animals and used tools such as saws to cut them out and make them into moving models.

The whole group also had a tour of the school including the new immersive learning suite and theatre.
