This week children from Reception have been busy working with our school chef, Mrs Thompson, to prepare and make a selection of café foods: heart shaped biscuits, pizzas and cheese twists. This is in preparation for their very own pop-up café!
The children have been set a Social Enterprise Challenge; “How can we raise money to help a charity?”
Parents are invited to attend the Reception pop-up café on Friday 13th February at 2.30pm in the school dining hall. We would like you to come along and purchase the children’s freshly made café snacks (along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate.) The money raised from the sale will be donated to Friends of the Animals Charity, based in Smethwick.
