Reception children and staff were treated to a puppet workshop on Friday 7th November. The puppet workshop was a hook for the children’s learning challenge ‘to create a puppet show’.
Chis from ‘Banana Brain Performance Company’ came in and demonstrated to the children how they could make their own puppet theatre and puppets. They also learned about the different types of puppets that can be made and used; they then watched a real puppet show – the children found it really funny!
Reception children are now going to use their experience to perform a puppet show for the nursery children and staff.
