Welcome back to a New Year and term. There has already been much activity in classes preparing for new challenges and topics. Forest school is up and running with lots to see and do in our lovely outdoor learning area!
Reception have had a visit from the Story Hunters while Year 4 have been working with the Fresh Water Theatre Company. The whole school had a treat from 1AT as we watched and listened to their creative adaption of the famous ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ story during a recent assembly. We are all eager and excited about the inspiring new things which have been planned for us to get our teeth into this coming year!
There are a range of new After School Clubs which have been organized and children have been invited to attend these sessions on a first come, first served basis. Consent and contact letters need to be sent back to school as soon as possible.
The Spice Club continues to run on a Thursday, starting at 2.45pm in the dining hall. Parents are invited to share and cook recipes together, with various food tasting sessions planned.
Ballot Street Spice has now started trading, over the last month a number of orders have been taken on line for the very popular and versatile ‘Mrs Mahal’s Masala’. Please spread the word and visit the website www.ballotstreet.co.uk for more information about placing orders.
Our Spring Term Parents’ Evening will take place on Wednesday 11th February. Letters will be sent out nearer the time for booking appointments.
