To conclude Year 1’s topic entitled Far, Far away, the children and staff visited Telford Wonderland on Monday 2nd December. They were able to meet all of their favourite traditional fairytale characters and meet Santa’s Elves; their favourite Elf was named ‘Big Ears’. Everyone had fun at the fair and trying to find one another in the fairytale maze was a very difficult task – guess who got lost more than once?
The children ended their day by making a wish in the fairytale well, before lots of worn out children made their way back to school – a GREAT day was had by all!
